I am really APPALLED to some of the behaviors of our people especially when it comes to any road accidents.
I was on my way to Sungai Liang today Around noon time to attend an invitation for a Hari Raya lunch. I am sure a lot of people had been caught in the road jam as there had been a bad accident involving a saloon car and a 4wheel car which occurred close to the BMC Junction.
Everyone was driving along, when the car in front of me stopped suddenly and put on his emergency lights. Before I could assume it was some sort of a car problem, I saw the driver came out, walked to the accident area and was taking pictures or videos with his mobile phone! And he was actually doing it next to a group of people whom I believed where involved in the accident as they were talking to the police! Not wanting to jump into conclusions, I assumed again that he had probably been a family member to who was involved in the accident. I then saw a lady sat in the driver side, started to drive away and parked to the side. When he was actually done, he just walked away with a smile on his face , went into the car and just drove away! So, he wasn’t a family member! Not only then, I saw a few other people with cameras in the hands and signaling to by passers that someone had died even!
This is unacceptable. How can filming such unfortunate accidents be a thrill to anyone? And before we know it, pictures and videos would be sent to everyone emails in full view. Even though there were some policemen standing around, no one has seen nor stop this man from taking pictures /videos of the scene.
HOW CAN WE STOP THIS? My wish is for the authorities to look into this. These acts are rude and absolutely unforgivable. We should implement STRONGLY in their procedure where should any similar situation occur, THEY SHOULD STRICTLY STOP ANYONE from taking pictures/videos. This should also include to those who slow down to get a good view of the accidents ( causing even a slower jam ) and those who stop at the sides of the road and watch instead of helping out. We could also educate the public to not ONLY buckle up, drive safely but to also know what to do and what NOT to do when accidents happen.

PLEASE STOP THIS SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOUR and respect the victims and their family.

I'm one of those people who'd go down and look. Shameless really. But only that one time. It wasn't picturesque. I've learned my lesson.
Was it a fatal accident? I think it's time for you to write another letter to BB
kalau dakat rumah i would go down and look anyhow. I wont deny that though..hehehe plus nada traffic jam.. Ani fatal abis. The saloon car was pecak brabis..And i dont know whther it was blood i saw or car fuel on the road. Yang ku piss off brabis is the part where just when the two lanes can merge, the car stopped( masih ada banyak keta nie ah) and the driver went down to take pics. Punya ku horn brabis.. Inda lagi tuleh tu.. he just walked on!
So kesian eh. He stopped in the middle of the road and made others wait? Atu terlampau banar jua tu and i think our traffic police should be more efficient.
uh-huh until i horn brabis. Thats when the lady ( ithink was next to the driver seat, took over the wheel. The guy sibuk2 dengan mobile nya mengambil video. sudah nya abis, agatah ia balik ke kreta and just drove off. Ku pikir family! menolong kah apa.. rupanya ambil video. There was this older guy as well, who had a camera in his hand, membagitahu SEMUA kreta ia melintasi(he was walking by the way) that ada orang meninggal.Ya rabbbiiiii.... and yang membuat jam lagi is that there were some cars who slowed down ke siring. Inda lagi siring abis! we had to belok here and there to avoid hitting the plp who coming out from their car and drive on. Luan jua eh. Aku kesian the victims bah.
awuu.. and thats why i've this excact post to the BB dah. Liatlah kalau kana publish.
Urang Brunei ani banar tah. Sakai!
tssskkkkkk! bangga sangat jua ia tsenyum2 gas ambil gambar atu. mun kan nulung baik jua. nada respect langsung =S
yatah bah... ngok ngek eh banar.. tengah2 jalan buleh brake and pasang emergency light. Kir menulung rupanya menvideo... kan buang slippar buruk ku arah nya bah kelmarin atu!
OMG! some people ah.. no manner.. write in BB. biar ya.. request supaya publishkn 10 kali pebaik.. haha..
what the police shoul've done immediately is to cordone off the area and manage the traffic immediately. Each police car has two poiceman for a reason. I mean, one can talk to the victims involved in the accident and the other can cordone off the area and manage the on going traffic (of course to kick the ass of any insensitive prick who stop by to take pics and video). If they don't have enough man power, then call for back up. Come on la, it's Raya and the weather has been patchy at best, they should anticipate such accidents and jams. Tsk tsk tsk. I'll look forward to your comment on BB.
