*yawnssss*

A glimpse view of my daily commuting to classes routine.

1. Firstly, there is the long drive on a hot afternoon or sometimes nasty rains...Imagine ko time puasa.. Ngantuk tu laaai....

2. Then you arrive for class.. As you can see here, students dah masuk.. this was taken after my ahem-ahem break with my course mate and lecturer.. hehehe

3. Stationaries ready! Paper ready!

4. Do some exercises. one plus one = four! three times four = 100!

5. Nasib baik correct. I have my very non-karit Shi-Fu to constantly poke me when he sees a mistake and never fail to teach me. Best College-Mate ever! Thanks Wadin!

Ladies, this is Wadin.. Wadin meet the ladies..hehehhe Cool guy. He's single by the way! *winks*

Eh, I'm serious with my studies you know. No play-play one ah.. $350 per month + $250 for petrol krita not cheap owwwhh and there is no looking back once I've started this...

but there is also sometimes the occasional yawns lah..

Oh well... what the heck.... I need to drive back to Kb again. 5 mins sleep wont hurt right?

...right...

zzzzzzzzzzz

Happy Birthday Danial!

I love birthdays and the bouncers that comes with it!! heheheh My ever so great girlfriend threw her son his 1st brithday party and it went well. Danial was busy smiling at the flashing cameras, mummies busy chasing after kids and of course, shikin and effy's mum is a good cook, there were pretty much a lot of delicious dishes to go around. Everyone were pretty much enojying their food ... i know i was! (there goes my diet again)

This was Aiman's 2nd time going on a bouncer so as you can tell, he pretty much enjoyed it!

Aiman drinking ribena off Danial's bottle. Aiman's bottle is the one on the chair in the background!

Thanks for the invite and we hope you love the present Danial! Happy birthday!

Cakes and more cakes!

I had my one-of-those-days bitching sessions with my two bitches from work and boy, was the office juice fresher as ever. Anyways, thats work. We'll leave that out. Lets indulge in these lovely yummy cakes. Afterall, you cant expect me to fisnish this all by myself do you..

(you wish!)

A lovely blueberry cheesecake Aziz got me..

Thanks jis!

Oh, remember the cake my hubby did the 2nd time around? Remember how the sides were abit bumpy and kasar looking? Well, one day after seeing how Nigella bakes her Chocolate Cheesecake on the Travel Channel, it just clicked to me perhaps the method that she used was a more appropriate way of cooking a cheecake. So i suggested my hubby and we tried cooking the same way and ...

tadaaaaaaa..... now it looks so even and better looking of course. This method also made the cheesecake tasted even better. Hip Hip Hooray!

Oh.. and remember my last post about me getting started on my personal schedule? I have not worked on that one yet but my mum did pushed me on my "Losing Weight Reminder Chart". Now the whole world know how big I am. *sticks out tongue*

Lelong! Lelong!

Its a nice hot day today..

Woke up to see mum and sis busy labeling prices on old books, clothes and bags to have them sold in a garage sale at her friend’s house next Friday. One of our neighbors saw all the commotion, came up, went through the stuffs and actually bought a few items, even though we never actually intended to have a garage at our place this morning. Already receiving money in the morning? That there ladies and gents, is considered an auspicious start of the day according to fengshui. Hahaha wow.. my mum is good at this!

Mum determining the prices of her books. believe or not, these boooks are old as my sister. 21 years old and i have to say, she has done a pretty good job keeping them in tip top condition. (aside that the pages has turnede yellow with time of course)

Johanna Lindsey, Justin Valenti, JuneDeveraux etc. I actually sneaked on reading one of her June Deveraux's books, read it halfway, regretted it ever since. ( for those who read her books, you'll know what i mean)

The strollers are not for sale but the clothes and bags piling on top of them are.
(Red car in the background not included )

More clothes. Yang d bkang atu, jemuran neighbour kami tu. Bukan untuk d jual yer.. hahaha

Hubby had tons of dvd collection so i suggested to him to sell them as well. Lama sudah inda liat, bahapa lagi simpan. Mind you, most of it are Japanese Anime. (he's a fan). But off they go for the garage sale. Sampit sudah store room!

These ones however, never made it to the "for sale" . They are originals, limited editions collections so, these will stay with us as far as we're concerned.

Oh... Mum has also managed to save some of her favoutites books as well. hehehe

Now shake! shake i say!

Picture this…

Wobbling fat skinwobbling fat thighswobbling breasts...wobbling hips

Ladies and gents.. That’s me doing the belly dancing..

Its my 30th day and according to the traditions of my Chinese ancestral side of the family, I have officially finished my confinement period. (Nada ku kan ikut 40 hari pantang. I think by then i have gone suicidal tah tu) Finally, the long warm shower that I’ve longed for, the so-called-forbidden food is now allowed to be consumed, no noisy in-laws.. it has all happened this very day.

And so I celebrated with an exercise. A treat to myself to get back into shape again. Ahhhhh.. I can picture my self now doing the all good belly dancing but little did I know, I was about to be very surprise... at my self.

I’m good. Well, I used to be good. Now, I’m all jingly wiggly bad. When I started today’s class, I was all two left feet, and obviously the chubbiest of all the ladies and I couldn’t help noticing I had the biggest arms and chest too! I couldnt catch up with the steps even! So not me! God help me! Ok.. ok.. so it has only been month since I gave birth but like any other woman, I’m desperate to get back into that size ‘S’ jeans again. *sigh*

Focus Pat! Focus!

Right! That’s it. Enough mopping around and time to do something about it. I’m determine to get into shape by all means despite the classes I will still have to go starting of next week and the fact that I’m also a mum of 2. Nothing shall stop me! Hah!

I’m going to start by rebuilding my personal schedule to balance work, class, time with family and my exercising time. Heheheh.. this is going to be fun! Will let you know how it works out soon!

come and measure me..thats if your measuring tape is long enough! *stress*

P/S- the new dancing location is horrid. I prefer the old location. Hope these classes get to move to their so called new place soon.. Bluueeerrghhh..

Token of appreciation

A thank you goes a long way…

So hence the card I’ve made for the doctors, nurses and midwives of ward 6. To think of what they do everyday, delivering babies and ensuring the mummies are save and sound from their “ordeals”, I thought it was only fair to brighten up their day with a small appreciation gesture. I had also ordered a set of Thank you Red Cuppy Cupcakes from Sinah Biscuits to go along with the card. It definitely send a smile on their face.

the card... i know.. i know... nothing special but its the thought that counts right?

the cupcakes. ( I had forgotten to take the pic when i bought it so i pinjam this one from the website!)

Ready to eat!

Actually, I woke up to a grumpy start, I just found out my amah just threw away 5 ounces of freshly pumped breastmilk down the drain because she thought when I put in on the kitchen table, it was meant for washing. Buduh..Buduh… Why do I stay with idiots kan? Buduh buduh buduh buduh buduh .. I have enough annoying people to handle now this maid lagi.. eh buduh banar eh.. buduh buduh buduh *sabar*sabar*

Right, time to shift focus to something else or I will be dreading about this morning’s stupid tragedy.

The Blueberry Cheesecake is finally ready to be eaten! And it was supa-delicious. (of course, its made out of love for me, mestilah nyaman!) heheheheheh Home made cheesecake just for me :o) I love every bit of it.. Thanks again baby!

Time to cut the cake!

A slice to try...

Going...

Gone.. Yummy!!!

Cheesecake anyone?

You know, after all this time of dating and marriage and then having two kids, I always knew that my hubby could cook.

The first time ( bermasak ah bukan lain!) was at my hostel (Yes, back then we could bring boys. Mana kira siapa warden nya pasal warden pun bawa boifren.. wahahaha) so there were times when Ham would cook for me in the kitchen after my classes. Also there was time one time when he would correct my way of peeling the garlic (buleh? Peeling garlic pun kana tagur?) I even thought he was abit “gayish” because he could cook. Thank god my mum back then told me “ Good what men can cook. No need to susah2 masak all the time!” hahahah I think that was one of the reasons she approved of me marrying this man. *blush*

Where is this going you might ask? Why all these? So what if a man can cook? Sakai kah ko Pat?

Well, sikit2 lah..

This is where I actually became really sakai. Let me rephrase the first paragraph

You know, after all these time of dating and marriage and then having two kids, I always knew that my hubby could cook but I never knew he could bake!!!. The man knows how to bake a cake!! Aku inda pandai!! Like this ah, I think I should not be called a woman lah seriously. Drop my waterface!

The first cake he made was a sponge cake. He made a Tiramitsu but that didn’t worked out to well because of the coffee. Ham never made it again and that was last year. This year however, he had made a Blueberry Cheese Cake and the chesse tasted marvelous! My inlaws was at my house when he baked. My sis inlaw sanggup tunggu another hour just so that she could taste the cake. She loved it. Except..for one thing. The biscuit base was burnt. It was a no-no to eat it because “Makan yang itam2 atu yang boleh bawa cancer” as hubby explains. Off to the trash it went.

Tonite at 8.00 pm, we tried making one again. Looks good. Cant wait for it to come out from the oven though. Will give you the verdict at the end of the blog. As im writing this, the cake is baking up in the oven! So while we wait, feel free to check out the pictures of the whole process.

Right. First things first. Read the recipe.

Ensure that all ingredients are available.

Showing off our brand new spatula. The old one broke when he did the first cake.

You know, I never knew you could melt a butter like this without burning it. Told you I'm sakai!

Sniffing the creamcheese. We're trying a new brand.

Putting everything together.

what does that look like to you? hehehe

At least there was one thing i could do. bash the butter biscuits to make the base. By the way, this brand tasted yummy!

Mixing away sayang!

Waiting for the cake to cook in the oven.

It's finished baking. you can tell how long we've been waiting by looking at the bowl of ciggies buds right infornt of the microwave. By the way, one of my neighbours is getting married tomorrow so right this moment they are having a blast because there is a live Gambus session going on. Sleep? Forget it. Not until they finish playing and dancing their hearts out!

Now we have to wait for another 4 hours to cool down before we can put blueberry on top!

Pour the blueberry and spread it all out.
The best thing about this is that I love blueberry cheesecake and hubby did this all for the love of me.I love you sayang!!! muaahhhzzz

Its 1.00am ladies and gents.. Esuk saja kami makan cake. Lets hope this time the base is not burnt at all. Updates next blog. See ya!
