Adventure? You got it!

Mari kita bercerita dulu ya anak-anak...

There was an inivitation to an Open House in Bandar. Wadin's is a good mate and we did got invited so it was definitely a pleasure to attend. Alhamdullilah, Zul aka BUdak Nakal was there too. SIok lah and food was lovely. Wadin's mum soto is the BOM! Nyaman kali ah.. ( Din, buleh minta recipe ?) *wink2*
Aiman, all strapped up i his car seat. We are travelling on a long distance so safety is a priority. It was a pity that I couldnt bring baby Arman or else he could collect angpow too! It was raining today and our little sporty car could accommodate so much. I didnt want to take the risk lah basically.
I was enjoying my Soto so much that I had forgotten to take pictures at Wadin's place but I did manage to take some pics of Aiman playing with Wadins' nieces and nephews. You could tell that this was a loving family environment because the children were nice and friendly with aiman. Trust me. I dare say this because I have seen how mean children can be at other plp homes and this always had something to do with how the environment is at home.

It was 4 o'clock. Enough laughing and jokes and food for now. The guys siok2 bercerita sampai abis bah kueh raya Wadin (which he baru refill!) hahaha.. Tandanya nyaman tu diiin.. Alhamdullilah! Everyone said their goodbyes and thanks, and we were on our way.

Hubby - " Ok, sayang we go to Mothercare kan? "

Me - " Uh-huh. We need to get new pants for Aiman." (His current ones were getting to short for him!)

Aiman - " Go! Go! " ( Thats Aiman telling us he wants to continue berjalan2!)

Car in gear and after few minutes on the road, we heard something strange.. Krok krak krok krak.." Eh...apa bunyinya tu ah? " . It sounded like something was stuck onto your tyres and when you drive, bising ia when it hits the road. Tapi bila lapas minyak, no bunyi. Tapi bila brake, the sound came back lagi.. krok krak krok krak.. SHIT says hubby. We immediately drove to a nearby department store, parked at the back and stopped to check out what was wrong.

"Alaaaaaaa....brake caliber patah! Have to call toll-truck. It's too dangerous to drive back." He was right. Aiman lagi ada. Oh dear.. thank god this didnt happen on the highway or else! And alhamdullilah, the car is still under waranty. the car hardly kan pakai kali ah! Nevertheless, I am just grateful that we found out the problem way before we were on some highway at a certain speed!

Toll-truck.. Man getting details..Macam Polis in the making.. waiseeeh..

You cant see it but the cars lining up here, there were about 4 cars who wanted to reverse. I didnt managed to take the picture of the one who actually "raced" his engine ( probarly to show his annoyance) and sped off rudely. Ummm dude. Car on toll truck? That means car trouble?!?!? Buduh lah. Nampak jua buduh orang atu. Nasib ada Aiman, I had to play a cool and good tempered mummy. Show good example orang tua would say. (Ikutkan hati, ku kan stand behind his car to provoke him even more). Poeple who truly know me, knows that its NORMAL for me to do so.

Can you click on pic to get a better view? If cant, then me editing this is not meant to be seen. Sorry.

Toll truck on its way to kb and here we are waiting at the restaurant for mum and sis to pick us up. I too managed to get a toy car for $2.90 to distract him while we wait.

Aiman was playing with his toy car nearby a shop. I wasnt paying much attention on the shops because the floors were grossly dirty and knowing my son, he was tempted to pay his car on the floors! YUCK!

It was when I looked up and saw this! *Angels singing moment* Something I had been looking for!! Well, myself and Peaches! We had surveyed the designs for our next year raya baju and what was missing were the beads that we wanted for our baju. No. Not the everyday same old small maniks. These were... ummmm... You see lah nanti... Raya 2009.. hehehehe (Kami masih URI Tragedi Raya Baju Bida.) Like Seriously. Our baju is B.I.D.A.

Some laces. Im not really a baju kurung /baju melayu kind of person.I depend on friends for ideas and the latest fashion tips so I amd assuming these laces are nothing? But these shop had lots of choices and I dont see this kind of shops in KB. Kalau ada pun, gerenti expensive one.

Peaches!!! These are just the few ones out of the rest! We must! WE must!
Btw, everyone reached home safely but there seems to be a glich. As I write to you now, the toll truck is still downstairs with the RX8 on it. Apparently, the toll truck punya car-menurun thingie hydraulic leaked. So the truck cannot turunkan the car. Now, they have to call another toll-truck to pull RX8 down safely. You dont get this everyday huh? hahah kesian eh. My hubby is now actually smoking and sipping nescafe with the truck driver downstairs while waiting. Raya jua bah, like how Epi's Beef would say. Tarus kami serve kueh raya.. Kwang kwang kwang...

And that kanak2, sums up today's adventure. Until another episod, good nite and sweet dreams.

Bee-Outch.

p/s - I was about to close up until my huby told me that the driver of the other toll-truck is currently lost somewhere. The driver had to drive to pick up (using the same truck with the RX* still on it) his lost friend and bring him here. Kah kah kah

Ittadakimasu!!!

"Sayang, I taisliur Sushi lah.."

"Bah, lets go to Excapade then. Me mana saja..."

Weeeeeeeell, actually I am NOT a fan of Sushi. Give me belacan, give me ulam and I'm all good. Sushi? Pass. I was ok with sushi once before. Eversince my first try on japanese food, I thought it was ok. Then, there was Misato in Kiulap. I loved eating there. Their work was amazing. Quality = yummy. I was impressed. I loved it. I could even indulged by myself when I had an hour or so before hubby's arrival after work.

But...

Then there was that one day, when we had dinner at Excapade,Gadong. An hour after dinner, I had food poisoning and diarhhea plus vomitting for a week. ( Sidetrack - Is it me or does anyone smell the fishy odour going on at the Gadong branch? It just stinks there. I totally 100% believe that particular branch stinks!)

No more Sushi for me ever since!

Forget Gadong. We'll go and visit the nearest branch. Pandan 5! Thank god that we made reservations. Tonite was packed.

Mix mix mix, jangan tak mix the wasabi...

Where did the train went?

I suck at names. I dont know what this is called but I know my hubby enjoys this one...along with everything else of course.

Wasabi effeeeeeeecttttttt...

We also had two other dishes. Vegetable Teriyaki and Chicken Teriyaki. The vegetables were good. The chicken? Cold and un-cripsy..

Nevertheless to my hubby, thank you for dinner :o)

Hmmm... Shall we? Shall we not?

Its been a year plus now since i took my temporary motorcycle license with hopes of getting a scooter for myself. I had to postpone halfway when I found out I was pregnant with Arman. By the way, I have no shame to admit that I am into riding. Not for show! (I am definitely NOT one of those ride-and-die-hardcore-prasaan macho-lupa bini-lupa anak-lupa priorities motorists ah). Kindly do not associate me with them. Thank you. I've just always admire riding on motorbikes especially the ones use for cruisin.

The family and myself went out today to do some car window shopping ( Its high time to get a 7-seater car!) when we stumbled on this motorbike shop which was located near the Nissan-Suzuki Showroom. None of the models are the ones that i was looking for though but our little Aiman saw something he liked! I just had to take pictures of him on it!

Mummy! Car!

Aiman- looking as if he knows what are the spec of this ATV. Janji Car.. Mana ia duli tu sebanarnya!

Mummy! Car..pleaseeeeeeeee? (Go ask daddy..Mummy not enough money..kah kah kah)

Actually, Aiman was also checking out this mini racer until he saw the ATV (I ,myself had always wanted to buy this one once before but knew it would be a waste. I might as well use the same amount of money to get myself a reliable scooter. My mum thought the small bike was for kids! hahaha nada ku suruh!!)

And finally... just to post this up in order to remind my self to finish up what i started..

me...

and the hubby...

We must get the license!! We must!!

water seeping into the smoking area...

Look at the trees in the background.. Strong winds!

Note to self - Next time if similiar weather happens and you know there will be floods, take no chances to drive back to office!

LOSERS ALERT!

At the moment I feel so uninspired.. Nothing exciting is happening.. Nothing challenging..nothing bah.. Nothing.

Actually, I wanted to update the blog with pics from raya and the baby’s zikir nite, only to find out that we left camera is left at the inlaws place.

I’m so fucking sasak right now. And you know why? Why cant everyone get off my back kan? Do I look like a fucking target practice for you to throw you anger at kah? If you had fucking listen or fucking look at me fucking properly when I fucking talk.

I don’t get it. You do this can, salah one. Do that, can also salah one. Even buat kraja laju2 salah. Kana tagĂșr pulang like this “ GAGAS jua ko, dont force your self lah if you dont want to do” . Oh so she notices? Like finally !!! At least, we’re not stuffing our face with food malam2 and grow fat, and then whine to everyone else how fat you are!! Kau atu malas wah! Making excuses! Pity me! Tired me! No one understand me!No wonder you don’t have true friends!!! I think you deserve it jua bah. The reason why orang gagas buat kraja supaya EVERYONE INDA PAYAH TIDOR AKHIR COZ THE NEXT DAY IS A WORKING DAY BAH LOSER. I HAVE TO GO TO WORK AND TO CLASSES. I HAVE PRIORITIES UNLIKE YOUR SAD BORING LIFE BAH.

And the attitudes im getting at the office is amazing. If you cant meet your fucking dealines kah, sasak kana question by your supervisor kah, annoyed about something kah don’t put it on other people bah. I asked one INNOCENT question and a challenged was thrown back to my face? BEING A SENIOR STAFF, YOU COULD AT LEAST BE MORE PROFESSIONAL IN CORRECTING PLP, EVENTHOUGH ITS JUST A QUESTION. KENAPA EMOSI MACAM PONDAN ANI? PONDAN kAH YOU?

Accidents - Our very own Brunei Paparazzi

I am really APPALLED to some of the behaviors of our people especially when it comes to any road accidents.

I was on my way to Sungai Liang today Around noon time to attend an invitation for a Hari Raya lunch. I am sure a lot of people had been caught in the road jam as there had been a bad accident involving a saloon car and a 4wheel car which occurred close to the BMC Junction.

Everyone was driving along, when the car in front of me stopped suddenly and put on his emergency lights. Before I could assume it was some sort of a car problem, I saw the driver came out, walked to the accident area and was taking pictures or videos with his mobile phone! And he was actually doing it next to a group of people whom I believed where involved in the accident as they were talking to the police! Not wanting to jump into conclusions, I assumed again that he had probably been a family member to who was involved in the accident. I then saw a lady sat in the driver side, started to drive away and parked to the side. When he was actually done, he just walked away with a smile on his face , went into the car and just drove away! So, he wasn’t a family member! Not only then, I saw a few other people with cameras in the hands and signaling to by passers that someone had died even!

This is unacceptable. How can filming such unfortunate accidents be a thrill to anyone? And before we know it, pictures and videos would be sent to everyone emails in full view. Even though there were some policemen standing around, no one has seen nor stop this man from taking pictures /videos of the scene.

HOW CAN WE STOP THIS? My wish is for the authorities to look into this. These acts are rude and absolutely unforgivable. We should implement STRONGLY in their procedure where should any similar situation occur, THEY SHOULD STRICTLY STOP ANYONE from taking pictures/videos. This should also include to those who slow down to get a good view of the accidents ( causing even a slower jam ) and those who stop at the sides of the road and watch instead of helping out. We could also educate the public to not ONLY buckle up, drive safely but to also know what to do and what NOT to do when accidents happen.

PLEASE STOP THIS SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOUR and respect the victims and their family.
