For starters, it was raining the whole day hence the house was cold. I was taking pictures to share in the blog but little did i realise, i was taking pics with the dew on the lens. HEI, how am i supposed to know?. I thought the $600++ worth of camera had like a anti-dew mechanism that would affect with picture taking. Well, at leasts thats what the salesman said to us when he sold us this. *sigh* but ME on the other hand, i could have just wipe the lens off.. I hate my self for being forgetful.
Here, we have all the deco's and balloons and mum actually went all round kb to get air pumps for the balloons. Biasalah, kan merasa celebrate her cucu 1st bday.. Chinese people are very particular in celebrating birthdays. I have also learned that in islam, no matter how big or small the party is, it is always GOOD to celebrate their bdays, annivesaries, speacial occassions with your loved ones. Untuk mengeratkan talian kelaurga.. I love that :o)
see how blur this pic is. This is what i meant by dew lah. If you see properly, this the chicken (10kg) which was clean and stuffed with satay sticks. The rest of the menu inlcuded 10kg of oyster matinated sauce grilled big prawns, grilled rosemary lambshop, grilled fish, grilled Chocolate banana(this was soooo good, everyone ate so much that they couldnt burp..) and oh! we even had a soup corner where we served Sweet Corn Crab Meat Soup. That was gone after 2 big pot of refills! original recipes by my one and truly, my hubby! ( I'm so proud my man can COOK!)
The bday cake was of a SpongeBob SquarePants design. We search for the right image in internet and come up with this one and had it made into a cake. Aiman loves spongebob. The kid basicallys sits down properly for a good 30 mins watching every spongebob shows.
For a party which was of a bbq theme, us as parents shouting around busying cooking and entertaining the guest as well i had to say, it was a good one. There were bad moments. But what matters most was our AIMAN :o)
Next post covers his bday pressies. Stay tune kids..
